Route Description
RUSA Route #3135 "2023 Spring 400K (ACP) - Whidbey Island - Chuckanut - Concrete - Mukilteo"
Whidbey, Deception Pass, La Conner, Chuckanut, Lk Whatcom, Sedro Wooley, Concrete, Centennial Trail, finish at Mukilteo. More details and pre-ride report coming soon.
Parking
Unless you live on Whidbey Island you'll want to park on the Mukilteo side. On-street parking is fairly restricted in Mukilteo- most parking is 4hr max, and overnight parking is not allowed.
The easiest and most convenient parking is in the
new long-term parking lot (up to 72 hours) across Front Street from the Silver Cloud Hotel and Ivar's. This is a few minutes to the ferry. Note that the Google imagery is out-of-date. The new lot is roughly where the old ferry holding area used to be. It's ~300 meters from the parking lot to the ferry toll booths.

Mukilteo long-term parking rates.
NOTE: All other lots in this area are limited to four hours maximum and most are signed "no overnight parking". If you choose to park elsewhere, choose carefully. Nobody wants to finish a 400K only to find their vehicle has been towed.
On-street Parking
I did find street parking around the YMCA (10601 47th Pl W, Mukilteo, WA 98275), south of Harbour Pointe Blvd. It will be 4 miles downhill to the ferry.
Start
The start is at the Clinton Park & Ride, behind the Post Office:
Clinton Park & Ride
4801 Deer Lake Rd
Clinton, WA 98236
Plan on catching the 6:00am Mukilteo-to-Clinton ferry. We will checkin riders (including safety check)
prior to boarding the ferry. Get your brevet card from the organizer, then have a volunteer do the safety check and mark your card. When you arrive in Clinton, ride 0.5 miles up the road from the ferry, to the Clinton P&R, on the left. The organizer will start the ride once everyone has assembled there.
Pre-buying tickets online (for you AND your bike)
directly from WSDOT will save a little pre-6:00am hassle.
Finish
The finish is at
Silver Cloud Hotel - Mukilteo Waterfront:
Silver Cloud Hotel - Mukilteo Waterfront
718 Front St
Mukilteo, WA 98275
